Aprrox 2600 runners started this first of 2 day ones and at the end of the day (past 1 am local time) no more then 290 remained, including kenny with 23.700 in chips (average around 28.000). He will continue his tournament on monday evening/night when day 2 starts.
Pierre Neuville also started but no further news on him ( he was at 12.000 at one point)
Marc "Needleking" Naalden busted early on in the tournament
Tomorrow will see another day 1 for this event , with over 3000 seats available, there might be as much as 6000 players in this tournament !
Day 2 of the $50k Players' Championship is still going on, with 69 of the original 116 still remain, including Noah Boeken, with a healthy stack of 430.000.
